The drilling industry accomplishes this
objective by rock core sampling. Whether it
is limestone, dolomite, quartzite, granite,
sandstone, shale, or coal, Raimonde Drilling
Corporation has experience in all the above
formations from 25-1,100 linear feet. We
utilize wireline core drilling system
including NQ (2” diameter core), HQ (2.5”
diameter core), PQ (3.378” diameter core),
etc. Wireline systems offer the choice of
double or triple tube barrels. Further
testing may be required to analyze the
characteristics of the bedrock formation.
This further testing may include, water
pressure testing, installation of piezometer,
pump tests, etc. Raimonde Drilling
Corporation has the ability to rock core
drill from vertical to horizontal position
and surface or underground.
We guarantee 95% to 100% core recovery in
most formations.
