Offshore
drilling plays a vital role in expanding
construction in water masses. In order to
construct on a water mass, an investigation
of the water mass floor is performed to
define its constraints and essence. This
method of drilling and sampling requires
experience and much caution. Utilization of
hollow stem augering (splitspoon) or rock
core sampling produces a representative
sample of the area in question.
We have drilling experience in excess of 250
linear feet below a 100 foot deep body of
water. Offshore experience includes:
-
Drilling from a spud
barge apparatus
-
Drilling from a
jack-up barge apparatus
-
Drilling on dams and
embankments
